New: hybrid gensets

An intelligent solution to save fuel and prolong the life of the generating set is by storing excess energy in batteries and to release it during quiet periods. This causes the generator to run fewer hours. For example, in places without a power grid such as construction sites and festivals that need only lighting towers at night, this can be an economical solution in terms of fuel and longevity of the group. The generator runs fewer hours because it recharges the batteries during the active hours, no energy is wasted on dummy load or ‘undue electrical load’ to make the genset work optimally at times when little power is needed.

Both Himoinsa as JCB offer these hybrid gensets: JCB with a voltage of 230V 50Hz / 220V 60Hz AC for construction sites etc. Himoinsa 48V DC, equipped with a variable speed motor, which have an application in the telecommunications sector to provide remote or difficultly accessible transmission towers with power.
