Synchronously working gensets

These two generators of 250 kVA each are supplied to a potato company where only a small power grid is available. The aggregates serve to provide a permanent current (production) for the potato cooling.

The generators are equipped with a module to synchronise the phases and to supply power between 0 and 500 kVA. If there is a power greater than 200 kVA required both units run synchronously. At a lower consumption of electricity the set up will be automatically switched without interruption to one unit in order to save fuel.
